Sodium Titanifluoride, Na₂TiF₆

Sodium Titanifluoride, Na₂TiF₆, is prepared similarly to the potassium salt, than which it is more soluble in water. Na₃HTiF₈ also is known. Two ammonium salts are known: (NH₄)₂TiF₆ and (NH₄)₃TiF₇. Numerous other titanifluorides have been described, including those of all the alkali metals, magnesium, the alkaline earth metals, copper, zinc, ferrous iron, nickel, cobalt, manganese, and cadmium.
